Physical Discomfort, Bad Posture, Scoliosis
Tried everything and yet having no relief? Had an MRI and there was nothing found?
This is where the majority of clients who see us for physical discomfort start out.
We get it, it’s frustrating. Lucky for you, we are most likely working at a deeper level
than you have been addressing before. If what you have already tried isn’t working,
then that means we need to go “upstream” and find the base of the issue.
The MNRI method works on the foundation of how we function. In other words, we
aren’t working on your muscles, we are working on what causes your muscles to
work. If your back hurts have you tried to strengthen your core to help, but it hasn’t
worked? Maybe it’s not just that those muscles are weak, it’s that those muscles are
not doing what they are supposed to or firing when they are needed. With MNRI we
are working on the input, processing, and output. The input could be a visual cue,
sensory information or any of the other countless ways our body takes in information.
The processing is how our brain interprets the input and what it decides to do because of it. The output would be the part that we see like the hand moving off a hot stove. Although, we do not necessarily see all outputs as a change in hormones would also be an example of an output. In order for our body to be functioning optimally, we need all 3 steps (input, processing, and output) to be working appropriately. If at least one of them is not, then that is when we begin to have issues and seek help. Doing something like strengthening your core for your back discomfort is only working on the output. But if you have an issue with one of the first two steps, then that is where MNRI can likely really help.
